In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Dalila Belaza for her upcoming creation Un peu pour mon coeur....

Guided by a need for meaning and elevation, Dalila Belaza draws on immediate intuition: dance as neither an outlet nor an aesthetic object. Working with openness, she seeks the emergence of something shared-- meaning that inhabits and unites bodies.

Her first three works—Au cœur,  Figures and Rive—are manifestations of the same intellectual journey. Her imagination feeds these pieces with a generative intention: to create intersections between the memory of traditional rituals and the gestures of contemporary dance, so that a third region can emerge.

Through a delicate and carefully calibrated balance, Dalila Belaza places listening at the heart of her work. Musicality, at once a structuring and enduring principle, runs through every piece created since the founding of her company. With Orage, it becomes the driving force of the narrative. Dance bears a song that makes it voice more than body. At the center lies a vibratory state of being, creating a shared frequency between body and sound. Un peu pour mon cœur opens this space still wider, unfolding the melodic lines of song and the score of the body to usher in the dialogue.

"I am seeking the intimate, mysterious, and the immutable dormant in each of us.   That which speaks of being in a fundamental sense and which can unite (us). To do this I created  conditions permitting to open up and question the intimate; as if to extract a story of  mankind reinvented."  Dalila Belaza
