Mariotte

Initially trained as a breakdancer, Solal Mariette joined the Annecy Conservatory and then Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker's Brussels-based dance school, P.A.R.T.S, from which he graduated in June 2022. In 2023, he joined her company Rosas. He danced in any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones by Jan Martens at the 2021 Festival d’Avignon and EXIT ABOVE by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker at the 2023 Festival d'Avignon. In early 2024, he created his first piece, Collages/Ravages, with musician Jean-Luc Plouvier. He then rewrote it alongside musician Lucas Messier, with whom he has developed a dialogue between music and dance that they have also shared through various interactive workshops.
