In 2023, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Ménagerie de verre for the staging of FOR YOU / NOT FOR YOU by Solène Wachter, as part of Les Inaccoutumés Festival 2023.

Solène Wachter is a choreographic artist originally from the Hautes-Pyrénées region of France. Through stage devices that engage both the audience and herself, she actively addresses spectators, inviting them to reconsider their perceptions of the theatrical apparatus.

She began her training at the Paris  Conservatory (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse   (CNSMDP)) before joining P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. In 2017, she performed in 10 000 Gestes by Boris Charmatz, with whom she has continued to collaborate on numerous projects, including Infini, Danse de nuit, La Ruée and Liberté Cathédrale. She has also performed with Maud Le Pladec in Counting Stars With You, and more recently with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Némo Flouret in Forêt, a piece created and shown in the Denon Wing of the Louvre Museum in Paris. She also appears in 900 Something Days Spent in the XXth Century by Némo Flouret.

In 2022, she created a solo work now touring, FOR YOU / NOT FOR YOU, which she both authored and performs. After a period of association with the Centre Chorégraphique National d’Orléans, she co-founded Bleu Printemps Production, of which she is a member artist, and became an associate artist at La Ménagerie de Verre in Paris from 2023 to 2025. Wachter is also collaborating as a choreographer on director Joris Lacoste’s new project Nexus de l’adoration. The premiere took place at the 2025 Festival d’Avignon, where she also presented another work made with Bryana Fritz, Logbook, following an invitation to participate in the series Vive le Sujet ! Tentatives.
