Thomas Lebrun / CCN de Tours

First a performer for choreographers like Glandier and Larrieu, Thomas Lebrun founded the company Illico in 2000. He was an Associate Artist at Vivat d’Armentières, then at Danse à Lille. His notable works include La Trêve(s) and Itinéraire d’un danseur grassouillet. Director of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Tours since 2012, he has created 18 pieces, including La jeune fille et la mort and Lied Ballet, with more than 1,100 performances in France and abroad. Lebrun collaborates with artists like Foofwa d’Imobilité and choreographs for international companies, and receives commisions from major festivals and operas. A committed educator, he was also awarded the SACD Choreography Prize in 2014 and named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2017.
