Kanagawa Arts Theatre

Since its opening in 2011, KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre has aimed to be a vibrant urban theatre where there are so many creative activities taking place. Through active interaction between the Theatre and people gathering there, KAAT has played important roles in the prefecture's culture and creativity, by creating new artistic productions, cultural programs and generating local appeal and vitality. Keishi Nagatsuka was appointed as the Artistic Director in 2021 and with his vision and concepts, KAAT is trying to be active and rooted in Kanagawa internationally as well as locally.
