In 2025, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Setagaya Public Theatre for the presentation of Triptych: The missing door, The lost room and The hidden floor by Peeping Tom.
Setagaya Public Theatre, established by the City of Setagaya in Tokyo, opened in 1997 as a venue dedicated to the performing arts. The theatre is committed to exploring new possibilities in the field through contemporary theatre and dance, from Japan and abroad. It comprises two distinct performance spaces: the Setagaya Public Theatre, a 600-seat proscenium, and the Theatre Tram, a 200-seat black box.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director Akira Shirai, a renowned director and actor, the Theatre pushes the boundaries of performing arts through bold interpretations of contemporary works, occasionally incorporating innovative technology. These creative efforts aim to take the performing arts beyond imagination.
The Theatre is also widely known for its community-based creations and participatory programs. It offers a variety of educational and inclusive programs in the local community.
Setagaya Public Theatre aspires to be a place where people from diverse social backgrounds can meet and find themselves through the performing arts.
