In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Villa Hegra in collaboration with Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse, for the presentation of Vertigo by Rachid Ouramdane, Chassol and Nathan Paulin with the Compagnie de Chaillot.

At the age of 12, Rachid Ouramdane discovered dance in the form of hip-hop. He later took intensive courses in classical and modern dance. In the early 1990s, he dropped out of his studies in biology to devote himself full time to dance and joined the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers, France. Rachid Ouramdane’s creations are often inspired by testimonies and personal experiences related to dramatic or exceptional situations, such as those of refugee children or natural disaster victims, for example, from which he develops structured choreography. He has collaborated with circus artists, authors, visual artists, and musicians in his own creations, commissioned works, and workshops. Since 2021, leading an ambitious project based on diversity and hospitality, Rachid Ouramdane has been the director of Chaillot— Théâtre National de la Danse in Paris.
